Rewind ___ Reflect ____Refresh !

This title may sound like a click bait but I promise it will be worth the read.

The last two years have offered mixed memories in our lives. Our lives have not yet become normal, and Omicron is hovering at our doors. Each one of us has now embraced our life. The only thing that stays with all of us are memories. Let’s try to make each and every moment a beautiful one and make it a memory.

Rewind

To wind back to or toward the beginning.

As teachers, we need to rewind the last year, and analyze by asking ourselves what went well. The questions which can help us in rewinding our could be

- What is the positive and negative impact of the online classes?

- What are the behavioral changes among learners after coming back to school?

- What are the behavioral changes among learners after going back to online classes?

Reflect

To grow from our experiences by learning from each mistake.

According to John Dewey “We do not learn from experience. We learn from reflecting on experience”.

Reflection is an integral learner attribute. As teachers, it becomes quite easy for us to focus on the mistakes and errors and miss positive contribution. We need to give feedback to learners when they do something good also. As teachers, the questions which can help us in reflecting could be

- What is the importance of reflection and how to do it?

- What are different ways we have used for providing effective feedback?

- How can learners work on the feedback provided by their teachers?

Refresh

To update or renew something

Ta-Da, it’s time to refresh, restart and rework on the work we did last year in an improved and a better way. Sharing feedback is incomplete if don’t share the road map of how to work on the feedback. Focusing on “how” by providing the areas need to be work on.

To summarize,

Let’s have RRR in the lives!

Rewind our last year journey

Reflect on our word and work

Refresh to make journey beautiful 😊

Embrace the fact that, every child is born brilliant, beautiful, and wonderful in their way.
